Here is everything you need to know to prepare for a flea flush at your home. To ensure success, please follow these flea flush preparation steps. Inside fleas are not covered under our quarterly program because they’re brought into the home by animals.

TREATMENT

  • We can’t prevent animals from collecting fleas and bringing them into the house.
  • To solve the flea issue you need a flea flush.
  • Fleas are tough to get rid of because they reproduce at a VERY fast rate.
  • The flea service requires two treatments, two weeks apart to break up the flea egg cycle.
  • The flea service includes a 30-day warranty.
  • First thing we need to do is get rid of the eggs.

HOW TO PREPARE

  • We need you to vacuum the floor well, especially where the animal lives.
  • Vacuum daily until we arrive and empty the bag in the outside garbage can and make sure the can is not in the garage. Keep the lid
on the can and away from the house.
  • The vacuum process sucks up the eggs and causes them to hatch. We want them to hatch out because the eggs are chemical proof.
  • Vacuum the couch, floor, carpet, or any other area the animal lives.
  • We suggest throwing the animal bedding away if the infestation is bad or you if you don’t want to do that, you can vacuum the
bedding and we can spray it with our products labeled for fabrics.
  • Give the animal a flea bath the night before.
  • Also vacuum and mop the night before we arrive.
  • If we come out the first time and you are not prepped, the second time we have to come out you will be charged a $99 trip charge the
    day before service.

TREATMENT DAY

  • When we arrive for the service, all animals and people will have to vacate for 2 hours because the products for fleas have a foul odor.
  • If the fleas are on the outside, we will need to power spray the shaded areas of the landscape.
  • You can let the animal back outside after it’s dry, 2 hours.

FOLLOW UP

  • The most important part of this treatment is getting the animal on flea medication.
  • If you don’t get the animal on medication this procedure will not work.
  • We recommend you rotate your flea medications once a year to prevent the fleas from building immunity to the medications.
  • The best products on the market are Trifexis, Advantage and Frontline.
  • We will be back to your house approximately two weeks after the initial flush for a follow up service however, people and pets do not
have to leave for the follow up service, it’s just a routine check up to make sure the fleas are eradicated.

WE HAVE AN INCREDIBLY HIGH SUCCESS RATE WITH OUR FLEA SERVICE BECAUSE OF OUR ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
